Search engine. Cuts the time it takes to get the wrong answer from 5-10 min to 30 seconds. But still 25 min minimum to get right answer.

This is the kind of stuff I'd like to do, along with what Enki wants to do with his home assistant assistant. But until I can afford the hardware or the models get more efficient, none of that seems practical.

I can't realistically train my own AI, either, and that, to me, is the biggest issue. I've been poking at various models out there now, thanks to your suggestion, and they are all based on DEI/Marxist/post-modern trash philosphy. How can I trust a system that is trained with all that junk as a foundation of what is correct? I just can't.

I find Gemini 3 Pro to be good at explaining and giving examples, so that's the one I use the most for that sort of stuff

I'm not sure if I agree with that. And even if it is slightly harder to parse, it aggregates sources 10x faster than you can. Ai is only flooding the net with the things the net already had on it.

Dilution of signal is a serious issue moving forward, IMO.

I've yet to be able to use any AI to find better info faster. This is probably a me problem. And no, I don't intend to bother fixing that issue. I'll fade into boomerism and likely stay an AI Luddite.

Dilution of info happens second hand. You are right that's a big problem I think. Which is why reputation with verifiable key pairs is going to be much more important than the normies think going forward. That's why I'm here obviously.
