So I had a post during the weekend "break containment" which is shorthand to say that it spread around on the fedi.

I used the post's popularity to follow as many new accounts I could, as long as they didn't have Follow Requests turned on because as I have stated before almost no one actually answers Follow Requests.

(Side Note: you don't need to justify your having Follow Requests turned on. That was never my point.)

Sooo...

I ended up following something close to 200+ accounts!!!

Now I admit it's been hardly a day or two. But out of following 200+ accounts maybe 10 followed me back. That's 5 percent or less. Again, they don't have to follow me back. That's not the point. And also, any number of accounts may be bots (I did not follow any account which is labeled as automate...
