Got sent an "AI" + "telepath" article. Vagueposting cuz I dont wanna give them promo.

And the article is literally a shorter version of a famous blogpost that Elon convinced a famous YouTuber to make about invasive brain communication. (Yeah that one project were supposedly monkeys were abused). Only this time the fantastic promises made in the article are peppered with "AI" woo.

It reeks of investor cat fishing.

Randomly remembering this high school friend, his parents were "evangelicals" and he didn't mingle with "regular-Christian" kids. Of course, I made fast friends with him. So he tolerated the group I was in.

One day, like every day, we were talking about girls. But that day's subject was lesbians. And oh boy, this boy was suddenly interested.

After asking us to explain what lesbian meant. His eyes grew wide, as if with realization, and he said:

"Oh, I am a lesbian!"

And, like, aren't we all?

@nprofile1q... Everyone on the island hated them when they were a politician. And when they got out of politics everyone liked them even more than when they were in politics.

Now, whenever I am asked for my name, in bars/retaurants/coffee shops I say: "I am Suchandsuch, BUT GOOD"

And that has the immediate effect of drawing a laugh everywhere in the island, and instantly that person will remember who I am.

But as I grew up, the name became an extension of my being so to speak. So much so that now I wouldn't want to be called anything else.

I'm sure brighter minds have pointed this out but... The "AI" bubble is set to burst.

But it is conspicuously set to burst in the near future just as the "democrats" in Usia are set to regain power.

And how catastrophic the fallout from the "AI" bubble popping will depend on how much power the democrats acquire in the next two elections.

It's like there will be a perfect economic crisis that will allow the democrats to once again do as little as possible one way or another.
