#FlashFiction Dreams are my favorite literary device

I lean left, but as the product of Reagan era colonialism, lack appropriate education in the matter. Money makes us inhuman. I believe only in hugs. Both science & empathy are important. I'm just a dude and I will get distracted by boobs.

@nprofile1q... my goodness I haven't seen that since it came out. Will have to do a rewatch soon.

If you have never heard about it there's a podcast related to the TV show Cops. I don't remember the title now, sorry, but they go on about why the TV show Cops was made, what it set to accomplish, and the real effects on people's lives who happened to be featured on the TV show.

Sort of, IDK if people will remember this, or have read about it since it's common knowledge, how a certain fast food chain in USia tried to manipulate (successfully I might add) public opinion agains...

BTW the only "cop" show I believe with all my heart that it is not copaganda is Columbo.

And except for certain details in some episodes you could even argue Columbo isn't a cop, but more like an avatar for Justice itself as concept.

The effects of that nasty bit of propaganda, gave rise to certain terms like "frivolous"

Every time they use that term on a TV show I immediately think of a certain fast food chain now. So even known bad propaganda has some effect

Cop shows and movies are copaganda.

I don't know what my SO was watching. But the plot hinged on some type of insurance fraud for the central crime plot.

It suddenly dawned on me how many movies/shows/plots have that insurance angle. And now I wonder if those aren't also propaganda as well (yes everything is propaganda bear with me) to have people normalize buying insurance as a good thing that good people do and are entitled to.
