@Mysterious charmer Called again. Somebody found it pretty early and left it in a newsstand, and presumably didn't pick it up while he had it. (I rushed there seven minutes after I accidentally left it there, it was missing already. Wife tried calling about twenty minutes after that, no response.)

The fact that the bus stop is in front of a gypsy nest makes me feel both extremely retarded and extremely blessed. I might have physically aged somewhat today.
