a friend is coming over. any fun coop games that would be rather mindless? local multiplayer is ideal but two PC multiplayer also works

Dwarf Fortress Premium (the currently updated version, paid with graphics) is really nice and pleasant to play. I've played Classic for hundreds of hours and it's undeniably still the same exact game at heart, with many improvements and UI reorganizations. The new mouse-driven interface is pretty intuitive; many shortcuts are different and I'm still getting used to them. Some of them have seemingly been removed but since the control scheme in Classic resorted to stuff like "use UMKH and Numpad +-*/ to scroll in secondary/tertiary menus". it only makes sense. Worth every cent.
