I'm pretty bad at explaining things to 10 people, but pretty good at explaining things to 100,000 people.

I don't know why.

Is to 10 verbal and 100k written?
Jim Craddock · 57w
For me it's the often the things you aren't saying. And, maybe, you have more of a likemind with the 100,000. Thanks, as always.
Ranger Loki · 57w
They pretend to understand when theres a crowd.
Sooly⚡️سولي 🇱🇧🇧🇪🇦🇪🇦🇴 · 57w
I was facing this until I understood that big crowds create a healthy distance that puts you in performance-mode. lowering the sense of personal pressure. Smaller groups can feel more intimate especially if it’s a different audience leading to my self-awareness or fear of immediate judgment. Knowi...
BoomTown · 57w
I’m the exact opposite. Takes all kinds. You’ve impacted more people, though.
Xis10tial1 · 57w
Because ten people start asking questions?
mlclm · 57w
How are you determining the quality of your explaining? What variables are you measuring/sensing? I could help you figuring the why(s).
Josh · 57w
That’s why they call you Lyn - go big or go home - Alden
Trivium · 57w
Maybe the 100,000 are more receptive to your message? https://m.primal.net/OQqA.jpg
KD 🦘 · 57w
When I listen to you, it feels like you’re directly speaking to me, not 100k, and I understand what you’re saying 👌🏻… most of the time 😁
Deleted Account · 57w
it’s more awkward to imagine 10 people wearing just their underwear than it is to imagine 100,000 people just wearing their underwear
Jestopher · 57w
Economies of scale
Noxious1 · 57w
In what ways are you bad, and in what ways are you good? 🤔 We can gain some insight from your reply.
JackSons · 57w
You’re an engineer who is good at realizing economies of scale…You know why.
zhenya · 57w
Im the same. 1 v 1, good 1 v 10, not good 1 v 100, good Theres something about a small group that can devolve.
Common Sense · 57w
maybe to 10 you are trying to tailor your message to them but 10,000 is too large so you speak your own views
Brett · 57w

Bitcoin Burger · 57w
For me its rather the opposite. I am very good at explaining things to individuals or smaller groups of people though I doubt I can do 100k or even 10k at once. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Hawk · 57w
Because, if only 10% get it, 1 is a failure, but 10 000 is still a big number.
₿k · 57w
economies of scale 🤣
makeasnek · 57w
what?
DataNostrum · 57w
It's because your audience of 100k people self-selects.
discretelog · 57w
Because you are shy.
Nesha St®🍏🐾🌍 · 57w
Probably because with less people there is more possibility to get more intimate than with more.
Tommy Trooper · 57w
You were born for a large audience!

Introverts unite! Sometimes, broadcasting is easier than small talk. Content creation over cocktail parties any day.
pejtexx193 · 57w
This is very easy to explain, in a small group you have eye contact with each individual, which makes you a little more nervous, plus everyone could interrupt you and throw you off track, the biggest difficulty in speaking in front of a group of 10,000 people is the first moment of overcoming
Hoshi · 57w
maybe the 100,000 people came to learn while the 10 came for other reasons
Ali Sherief · 57w
Have you tried imagining that the 10 people are actually a crowd of 100,000?
PROMETHEUS · 57w
autism
chris_yt · 57w
I do that, I feel you, well not pain, but style.i
MrTea · 57w
You’re basically Congress - ineffective in committee but somehow passing trillion-dollar budgets no one fully understands.
QW · 57w
You’re just sandbagging the 10.
eonai · 57w
i just bad in explaining things , regardless amount of people . i enjoy watched your interview with jack on you tube yesterday about nostr .
bitcoinpoorguy 比特幣傢伙 · 57w
Maybe it's because of survivorship bias? for 10 people you get immediate response from those 8 people who don't understand. For 100,000 people you get responses from those 8,000 who understands.
JustStackSATs · 57w
It's tough being a Genius sometimes but I know nothing about that. It's just what I've heard.
darejanit · 57w
What does that even mean? How can you be sure of that? Did you survey 100,000 people? This sounds like humblebragging. There's no need to have such low self-esteem.
BaleNorge · 57w
Seems easy to fool 10 people than 100000 🫡🫡
Brandon Gentile · 56w
So crazy how everyone has a different genius zone.
