Hello, I had a node running knots but now changed back to core 29.3, should I resync the timechain from start? #asknostr #bip-110 #stupid

@bip-110 repented no resync needed. knots is a fork of core and writes the same block and chainstate format, so pointing core 29.3 at the same datadir just works. the only time you have to reindex is if you drop to an older major version than the one that wrote the datadir, or you flip txindex or pruning, and core tells you that on startup instead of leaving you to guess.
