One true sentence of the day.
Gm #bitcoin fam,
I am lying on my bed, looking at a pile of clothes I can wear, and it feels good. For the first time in a long while, I do not have to pick from a backpack with 6 or 8 Tshirts. Just having options feels easy.
Having access to my own kitchen feels even better. I can cook what I want, eat when I want, without thinking about restaurants or adjusting to someone else’s schedule.
There is also a room of my own, where I can move as I like, be loud or silent, talk, think, sit still, without worrying about where I will sleep tonight or whether I will find a roof.
It feels good to have a house.
I had heard family makes a house a home, and I beginning to see it now. There is silence here, a kind of emptiness, and then suddenly it is broken by the cries of a three month old baby girl, my cook’s child, who comes in for a couple of hours every day.
Those 2 hours are full. One baby crying, another running around trying to grab things or step into water, and in between all of this I sit and try to write, work on the book, plan the day, and move a few projects forward. It is a new rhythm, a different kind of chaos, and I am learning to sit with it.
Even though my travels ended in 2023. It took me about 6 months to find a place I could call a home, and I have been here in the Himalayas for nearly 2 years now.
But over the past few months,I was staying and working with a friend in Tamil Nadu, where we made solid progress on the book. We are now at 160 pages, about 2/3rd is done.
Book writing is a truly enriching experience. If you get a chance to do it, please do it. You learn a lot about yourself in the process, and maybe you will end up writing your second book on how to write a book? :D
Now that I am back, I will keep sharing my thoughts with you all, my digital family.
That is my one true sentence for the day.
