The cute part is, anyone who votes for the Nats at this point is perfectly happy for their vote to go to ACT or NZ1st, and they've made their peace with that. So they're either an "I voted conservative but I didn't vote for THIS (yes you did, you just don't want to be held accountable for it)" voter, or a tactical voter who ultimately wants ACT and NZ1st to set policy (the same way I'll vote Labour so the Greens set policy). The two party system ultimately prevails, regardless.
