"Chris, I love ya mate. And I appreciate the effort. But you gotta go a lot further than that. The stakes are too high and the time too short to mess around and try to play nice with people who will never be swayed. The Greens know this, and are proposing bold plans that can actually achieve solid results, while Labour is pottering around with good, but milquetoast ideas to try and appease selfish people who will never care about you. Or me. You gotta stop being Neville Chamberlain. It'll never be enough.
I'll absolutely be supporting Labour insofar as NACT First has got to be removed, but the Greens are where the future is.
I am under no illusions this will actually be seen by Chris Hipkins, or anyone at all. But if it is: there is no policy that will make any difference in Aotearoa when everything is underwater. Deal with that first, and we can talk about Apprenticeship Boost.
