I've been taking a very interesting indigenous-led class called "Community Resilience in Times of Collapse"

This has been fascinating in many ways. I learned a lot about the history of different cultural collapses that weren't on my radar. They advocate for a lot of the same strategies I'm using within my Resiliency Salon, and I've gotten several cool leads from the resources they've shared.

But they spend a good third of the talking time with apologetic semantics. The legacy fiat culture word salad is strong, it makes listening frustrating at times.

Also, sometimes they're so close to a full hearted YES from me... And then they take it in an entirely different direction that seems wildly incorrect to me 😅

Today they were discussing decentralizing currency, how the IRS is a huge problem, how most of our nations problems started in 1913...

And then they went on to say we should create local currencies by just having the community hold the national currency and we circulate artistic notes for locals only. Locals have to ask the local bank to redeem local notes for normal money if they want to use it outside of the community 🤯

Like... What? You just fluffed us up talking about taking money away from war mongers but you're describing still using that money, just giving it a local artistic facade.

And yes, they are vehemently anti-bitcoin. I had to take a pic to show y'all 🤣
