I still maintain non-hard mode is higher skill. I guess avoiding traps when doing hard mode could be a consideration making me wrong, but I feel they're sorta random and can't be avoided
I also feel like the tribulations of hard mode are random. When you're locked into the letters you already have, you get fewer spaces to guess new letters. And you can easily get into a situation where there's only one or two words that'll even fit and you spend all day trying to think of them.
