At Dune Part 2, every single preview was a remake of a previous movie/sequel. Not a single original script.

Yes and depending on your age, a good movie may not have been made in your lifetime.

Plenty of great old movies to watch

The new ones pretty much suck. Feel free to watch WeCrashed. It's about the CEO of WeWork that has gone bankrupt some time ago. It was great, I remember before 2020 reading about the company and stuff. Also, it's an 8 episode series so not a movie

between the woke BS and the Chinese buying up everything and influencing creativity yes they now all suck

Yes and what the fuck?

Hollywood did, yes. The Boy and the Heron is the only good new movie I’ve seen in… years, maybe.
hunter wells · 104w
they sure did lol

There's a few good ones here and there, they just also make a lot of garbage. Frankly, the same as it ever was. For every classic from decades ago, one could rattle off a dozen TV-only or straight-to-DVD duds
jimmysong · 104w
Yes, they all serve the state now. Kinda like movies from Communist China or Soviet Russia.

Series have gotten so much better though. It seems a shame to cram an interesting premise into 90 minutes. All of the best projects these days are multi episode series. I’m OK with that.
