Most people are sheep and have to be led there. I imagine this will become more popular once people realize they want to spend their asset. Currently, the world is stuck on having to sell an asset for dollars which they then spend. I think people inevitably figure out they can cut that step. Or get fiat loans easier than with pretty much anything else given how easily custody can transfer.
