"Racism" is a political slang for something perfectly reasonable and fine: a preference for your own family, your own faith, your own people, your own country, and a logical and reasonable suspicion for outsiders.

Like everything since WWII, our natural proclivity towards local loyalties has been inverted using guilt, shame, and "Hitler".
