i had two different gurus for a couple years, one in kundalini, and one in breathwork and breath holding. both compliment each other
many different approaches, but essentially i sit in sukhasana or what’s called easy pose, focus on breath, „box breathing“ technique 4 or 5 second intervals is a good way to start… or you can use heartbeat
let thoughts come but slow them, literally comically slow the voice in your head dowwnnn, if you must focus hear your breath or heart, the counting over time becomes second nature for more quiet,the thoughts disintegrate, enjoy the colors and shapes on the back of your eyelids, over time you’ll fall deeper and deeper into a nonverbal basically imaginative realm
