Tradfi/USG is succeeding at making bitcoin "just another asset" and the privacy-preserving, self custody, elimination of all fiat, citadel dream is disappearing fast.

Same with #nostr, ai is making it effortless to id people (and transactions) online. feels like freedom/btc maximalism is a sideshow now.

Even integrated and defanged, even as everything seems hopeless, #bitcoin can and will change people running these vampire games.
