Yeah, I’m thinking I might go for the fridge type battery. If it works the way Jeri suggests, ie that I wouldn’t have to try to plug the refrigerator into it, which would be impossible, I would do it.
And no power yet. It went out at 4:10 PM so it’s now been eight hours and 15 minutes. Power company still has no estimate of when it will be restored. The storm was pretty bad and there’s a lot of outage. I logged onto our neighborhood Facebook page. I loathe Facebook, but it’s good for these kinds of events. Somebody posted pictures of a tree that actually fell on their house.
