You're right that an activity that brings joy might be helpful. But what that would be... ? Something else music-related ? (since she plays piano) Does she sing? Any choir or chorus she could join -- or maybe just go listen to, if not participate.

What an enormous PITA...I got hacked. 😠 I opened a supposed email invitation from a friend. Someone I'm not really close to, and I thought the invite looked a little odd, but not odd enough to dismiss. This is the first time I've been hacked. And several months ago, I was working on a plan to get away from Google and harden my email against spam, using aliases, etc. But I didn't complete the plan soon enough. Ugggghhhhh. Not what I was planning to do today. But I should prob move quickly before more of my contacts are phished.

@nprofile1q... Is the part of the Earth we're looking at now where Australia & New Zealand are? And parts of Russia. I'm trying to gauge how much past sunrise the parts we can see are. In Sydney AUS it's 6:38am (sunrise?), and in Wellington NZ and Pevek RUS it's 8:38 (definitely in the daylight).

"Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" ? Written by Jerome Kern and first performed in 1933. Since then, 812 versions of it ! (I've found this website I love that is all about the history of songs and cover versions, etc.)

And I'm sure you have "These Eyes" by the Guess Who on one of your lists.
