I have run out of hot sauce, disastrously. The last couple of times I have just bought sriracha, and previous to that a sauce from Mr Vikki.

@nprofile1q... The correct answer is Franks. Vinegar not ketchup based (this is REALLY important.) Don't get me wrong, you can find nicer, fancier hot sauces - but for every day table use, nothing beats Franks. If you don't have Franks, look for the one labeled "Louisiana Hot Sauce" - that's the same kind as Franks."
