⚡️🇬🇧 NEW - A woman in the UK has won a lawsuit against her former employer after being told she had to turn her camera on during work meetings.

Laura Tait, who has an anxiety disorder, asked to keep her camera off as a workplace adjustment. Her employer refused, saying everyone had to keep their cameras on.

An employment tribunal ruled that the company failed to make reasonable adjustments for her disability, which counts as disability discrimination under UK law.

The amount she will receive has not been decided yet.

And how would she go about in-person meetings? That makes no fucking sense, is not like if I had no legs and you asked me to run a marathon. Is as simple to we are working; we see each other’s faces. Period.
