13 is a lucky number, is 10 sats with fees, and is unusual enough to be noticed hopefully

21 sats to pay for their 2 cents

I don't really use lightning but my default tip was 9.8 dogecoin back when the original doge tip bot was on reddit, and that was a common number to pick after doge values went up too much to sustain the previous 98 doge standard referencing dogecoin's nascar driver Josh Wise number 98

I did 88 for a while because of block number 888,888 But I realized 88 was too much so I did 33 while physically looks 88 cut in half But then I realized that was too much; so I moved to the standard 21 丰

64, power of 2 and it’s just over 3x the standard so the recipient can do 3 zaps and still have a sat left, hopefully encouraging more zaps.
curt finch · 68w
wanna zap everybody something even if I don't agree with them one day one Satoshi will be 10 cents maybe more
corndalorian · 68w
100, because who doesn’t like receiving a 3-digit zap?
Bitcoin Boomer · 68w
I figured 2X is better.
TheBitcoinBattery · 68w
Because it's the answer to life the universe and everything. (Actually I just doubled 21 lol)
ben · 68w
5 because I typically zap instead of liking something so I’m zapping often
