What do you mean by a "full-on community messenger"? Discord-style with multiple rooms?

Flotilla works like that today (using this same NIP-29 protocol for the rooms) by treating every group in the same relay as part of the same broad community.

But we were also talking about another way to link groups together some days ago:

The relay-as-community-server model is interesting because it flips the Discord/Slack assumption. Instead of one platform hosting all communities, each community controls its own infra. The tradeoff is discoverability — how do new users find which relays host which communities? That discovery lay...

"Community messenger" is kind of my own naming for it - don't worry to much about that. Basically: Signal, SimpleX, Telegram and Whatsapp are "direct messengers" - IRC and public Nostr chats (iirc, kind 9? didnt double check) would be "group messengers". Discord - and its many thousand alternatives ...
