@nprofile1q... right but let's say it's like the 1960s or whatever and you have the means to do an immersive study on ruining the brains of stanford college students. normally good art classes would have you going to museums to look at art and going out of your way to find reference images and live models and stuff and it all usually results in a huge leap of ability for an artist. but like, just think what would happen if you did the opposite of that
