Agreed. A lot of men were sold the idea that their value comes from being "the head of the household" etc. they have this idea in the back of their head that if they aren't leading a woman they have no value. That sucks.

And so to get out of that you have to give them a different way to value themselves. And these ideas can't come from me... cuz I'm a lady. sigh.

Yes, it's so weird that good ideas from women need to be rejected by them. It's so limiting. But then the code they live by is limiting as well. I'm glad I chose to step out of that many years ago.

If some men absolutely *must* find some way to provide "value", there's still plenty of space to actually be useful in non-monetary ways. Picking up useful skills and DIY hobbies, for example. Learn to do your own plumbing instead of calling a plumber for example.
