# LNURL-pay Inspector
A single-file HTML page (7 KB, MIT licensed) that inspects any Lightning address before you trust it with your sats.
- **Shows:** the exact `/.well-known/lnurlp/` URL queried, callback URL, min/max sendable (in sats), parsed metadata (description, identifier), and whether Nostr zaps are advertised (`allowsNostr`) plus the advertised Nostr pubkey.
- **Runs in your browser:** the one HTTPS request goes straight from your browser to the address's domain - no backend, no signup, no tracking, no CDN, zero dependencies.
- **Honest errors:** bad address format, HTTP errors, non-JSON responses, LNURL `ERROR` statuses, and unreachable or CORS-blocking domains each get a clear message instead of a silent failure.
- **Tested:** 36/36 checks, including field-by-field verification against a real captured LNURL-pay response.
