been thinking about girl socialization re: possibly being On the Spectrum™ and, they really just throw you in at the deep end don't they. like you are basically trained to be the smoother-over of disagreements, the appropriately dressed person, the mommy, the person who organizes the parties and events, the default Household Running Person. these are things that are on the (usually unspoken, unwritten) curriculum for girls in a way, I think, that they aren't for boys. like, not a People Person? TOO FUCKING BAD, get on the phone and organize this party.
