I post on Twitter and have it mirrored to Mastodon. I have notifications enabled for both browser and mobile though. Anytime someone engages with me from over on Mastodon, I go and show them some love. Now with Nostr being my main social platform though, that will slowly cease to exist.

I understand, I also understand why people do that. I don’t think that is going to apply here. We are going to see a proliferation of clients (apps) built on nostr and they are going to be superior to legacy web apps for various technical reasons. e.g. Imagine a world where there are 5 social me...

That behavior is shamed on the Fediverse also, including most Mastodon instances.

Mastodon is closed. Hopefully that won’t be the case for Nostr. We’re already talking about ways to make sharing notes from other content/mediums easier directly to Nostr. Some web standards don’t make it easy.
