Ouch. That sucks...or rather doesn't suck. Are you referring to the vacuum pump or the actually freeze dryer?
The only thing I found was that the rubber gasket that seals the door compressed and the seal was broken. I pull the seal out before each run and make sure it it in contact with the door all the way around before starting each batch.
