New Hampshire's House and Senate just agreed on a compromise version of HB639, a bill that protects the right to self-custody bitcoin, run a node, mine, stake, and use bitcoin for payments.

No state or local agency can restrict any of it. The bill also exempts personal mining, staking, and node operation from money transmitter and securities rules.

Still needs final votes in both chambers before heading to the governor's desk, but the hard part is over.
