The sheep in the UK think authority is the answer to everything. They truly have no self thinking abilities.

I think some laws are to suppress and show authority. Others are also there to make sure risky tools are where needed.

It is also something that is known as common sense.

Leaving a baby uattended besides a lake is irresponsible.
Being cautios when a kid comes close to boiling water is responsible.
So isnt it responsible to have deadly tools in less places, since they offer opportunities for harm too?

I mean it is reasonable even, when there is no law and no outside rule that tells me to keep guns in save locked places and rather use knives without a point, when I have no need for it.

In this instance a laws is being proposed to not have points on the end of knives. The law can't protect stupidity it seems, because the knives still have the sharp blade on them. Since criminals don't obey laws, a rounded point on a knife won't stop them from hacking at people. What next, legislat...
