@ww 🩶 @nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... @navi It would require a bit more of a social process to mitigate cheating, but on the other hand I think it would be more fun, ultimately more reliable and more ethical than the use of malware on user devices.
Remote attestation does absolutely nothing to prevent the use of custom hardware and ML models trained for cheating & input overlay over player visual output, for instance.
But socially? Something being up with how a player plays would be noticeable over time. Although they're probably also sufficiently toxic to get banned for other reasons anyway.
