Shout-out to the S&P 500 which, since 1959(!), is up a total of 37% relative to #gold and up 41% relative to the US M2 monetary supply.

Said another way, the appreciation of gold, US stocks, and the US M2 monetary supply are all about the same over long periods of time.

What’s going to trigger the next round of QE (or emergency liquidity boosting action from the Fed)? Since there are those who say there is no recession imminent, why would the Fed stop taking dollars out of the system? What will cause interest rate action?
