Gov. Tim Walz has ordered the Minnesota National Guard into Minneapolis following today’s shooting of a 37-year-old ICU Nurse Alex Jeffrey by Border Patrol and ICE agents.

The Guard will assist local police amid growing protests over the second fatal shooting of a resident in federal immigration operations.
