Why does my older brother have an opinion on the size of the house our parents want to move into?

Also, I sure would like it if my parents sorted through all the stuff they accumulated in 33 years living in the same big old house while they are still physically & mentally in shape to do that, so that we don't have to do it for them later on.
I'm going to offer to come visit for a few days & help with sorting & getting rid of stuff. It's so much easier to do that stuff when your parents are still able & active.
