I disagree because it is in "quotes" and social graphs (isnt that actually what a 'social network' is?)are leverageable beyond microblogging or whatever

I always say this. Basically everything we do on Nostr is "social" in some way, but if everybody reads "social" and immediately assumes it's just microblogging then I don't know what to do.

I think of social as public forums to connect socially: LinkedIn, X, Insta, FB etc Come to think of it, I don’t think of Nostr when I think of social Huh 🤔

You can't win. Its a new paradigm, people simply don't have the concepts ready in their mind to comprehend what it is they are looking at in the first place. Any short sentence will 'fail' one way or another.
