I’m on board with a projector. I just don’t want a “smart device” that lives in my wall. Haven’t had one since 2019. Would be interested in a VST projector as the tech gets better

The fits the needs perfectly: laser light source, HDMI-only for video, no Bluetooth, and no smart operating system or apps. It has an Ethernet port for basic control if you want it, but you can just ignore it and keep everything offline with a cable. It's a solid high-fidelity option with great color and contrast.

Should work with #GrapheneOS via Android Desktop Mode just fine. Capability is currently only 1080P, but that will likely change pretty quickly in the coming years, as desktop mode is brand new.

Also looking at ultra-short-throw. The Epson QS100 is a high-end laser ultra-short-throw projector with no smart OS, no WiFi, and no Bluetooth. Completely dumb, just HDMI inputs and eARC.
