Any speed. Just get a lot of it (>64gb) Relays don't work when they need to go to the disk to get events. You need to put as many recent posts in memory as possible.
🙋♂️ normie here, so my client taking ages to initially load up (and sometimes crash) is due to my shity Samsung with only 6gb RAM? is that right?
Will relays ever get faster or is it absolutely down to client side RAM?
I'm interested as I see this as a bottleneck to greater adoption. If it doesn't load like X people get frustrated.
