I did some gallons early on. Didn't get rid of them. As a hobbyist, and not an industrial maple producer/packer, I wouldn't have enough to get to my growing number of customers. I can't scale my hobby. If I did, the syrup wouldn't be the same. Not many producers boiling outside over open fire have enough to sell besides their family. Industrial maple is much different.
