During my recent burn-out phase, I ended up binging on all three current seasons of the television show The Boys to kind of refill my batteries. 24 episodes of superheroes being evil.

It was the first show I watched since finishing up Succession. I don't like The Boys comic but I actually liked the show a lot.

Anyone else watch it?

What was your take of Succession? I really liked it and thought the last season was reallu good. I haven't watch the boys but my friend has recommended it to me multiple times. Next time I'm in a funk I'll binge it.

I stopped watching it immediately when it became obvious the main nerd character was going to use his growing feelings with that chick to manipulate her and then he would be torn between his feelings and his objective. I don’t know maybe that was episode four. I can’t stand formulaic TV. 🤙

Nope. I'm not a fan of the marvel/super hero genre. I didn't mind Heroes & this seems a little similar. Might give it a go later. I've been enjoying "From" & just started S4 of Succession.

Yeah, fun show! I think it’s a good example of how to create something appealing to a broad, modern audience without veering into the lazy, cynical token-based diversity casting and writing that is so prevalent these days.
