⚡🇪🇸 NEW - Spain's data protection authority fined Yoti €950,000 for breaching GDPR rules with its digital ID app. The main issues were:

- Collecting and using biometric data (such as selfies) without a valid legal basis (€500,000 fine)
- Obtaining invalid consent from users (€200,000 fine)
- Retaining personal data far too long, including five years of location records (€250,000 fine)

But the fine is for the state, not for the people. They should pay the people, not the state. The entire system is corrupted.
