What strikes me is something Vinay Gupta said a long time ago, which is that Bitcoin can't be divorced from a political ideology or philosophy.

The error I think is that a lot of "apolitical" people, who really were culturally aligned with the Right, got into to Bitcoin... Then were sort of "radicalized" by the events of the early 2020's into joining a political coalition with Trump.

And now they (hopefully) realize that they got played for Chumps.

This is I value libertarianism as a political compass: I know better than to align with either "side", because it always, always comes back to bite you in the ass.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and to comment. I agree with what Gupta said. It’s very hard to divorce anything from political ideology. Agreed that more from the political right tend to enter this space and that Trump only supercharged that trend. We’ll see if the Bitcoin voters who...
