I had a life realization during Covid that I was done extending politeness to anyone who didn’t display politeness

One example: I had a heavy shopping cart packed to the brim with groceries during Covid and the store had marked the floor in a confusing manner for social distancing reasons (retarded).

At check out an employee came up to me and was extremely rude about how I was not standing on the right arrow or whatever…. so I shoved the cart over to him and said “here, I don’t need this anymore” he switched up immediately like “uhm you don’t want to purchase these items?” Suddenly his tone had switched from rude to accommodating. Probably after realizing he would be the one responsible for putting each item back one by one and I was just like “nah” and walked out lol 😂

You don’t owe the impolite any politeness in return.

Yeah, I feel like, for most of my life, society was set up so that people in power could take advantage of the masses, and in exchange, the masses could enjoy simple, thoughtless lives. And it was all retarded bullshit and lies, but at least it was convenient and had an heir of respectability. But t...

Not sure if it was just Covid or people being online too much thinking they can interact with people the same way they interact with them online. In my world, that is a good way to get knocked on your ass.

Well done good sir! Comes down to basic respect and interpersonal manners. All these people buried in their phones don’t know how to deal with people in nuanced situations which just amplifies their insecurities and rudeness. Glad you stepped up and didn’t take the nonsense, that guy learned a v...

You walk into a private establishment, couldn’t follow simple rules of that establishment and then pitched a fit like an entitled toddler. Then you post it as a flex on social media. I invited this guy to my house. Everything was going great until he lit up a cigarette and started smoking. There ...

Since Covid I no longer have any trouble believing in mass brainwashing. It was an incredible thing to watch.
