That doll controlling witch of the forest may seem a bit mean at first, but she's not all that bad. After all she does regularly put on little shows for the village's kids to watch. Perhaps it's a sign of her seeking kids of her own, though I doubt it. She seems far too cold for that. The coldness surely isn't a front.
