He was an everyone disrespecter on a bad day, lol, but he was never super convincing about his woman schtick, imo. Overly sensitive, heart broke one too many times... familiar "chauvinist" story.

I had a soft spot for Richard. A lot of people thought he was too broken, but I thought he could be salvaged, and maybe he could have been if he had lived. He was brilliant in a misanthropic sort of way.

Same. Not in appearance, but he was otherwise much like my ex before hubs. Sometimes they can't be saved, but there's an underlying idealism to their "broken" a few of us can see.
