Theme: Share Your BCHNostr Account Creation Story
I know being new to the platform means there’s a lot to take in, especially at first.
💚The steps I followed to make my account.
I just followed what was in our messenger group chat, and when I got stuck I asked for help directly too. That part was pretty straightforward, but still… you know, it took some time.
💚How you set up your BCH wallet.
At the start everything felt unfamiliar , I wasn’t sure what to do. Then @zine✨ told me she uses Bitcoin,so I kind of decided to use it also. She walked me through the process and honestly she was very willing to assist. So yeah, that helped a lot.
💚Any challenges or errors you ran into during registration or wallet setup.
I didn’t run into any issues there, registration and wallet setup went smoothly. No hiccups, nothing weird happened.
💚How you solved those challenges.
Since there were no errors, I didn’t need to troubleshoot. But later on, group members mentioned that Selene or Paytaca might be better. I asked Mommy @Nengste1 for advice about Paytaca and I even asked if she had a referral code, but she didn’t. So I did my own deep dive. I researched Paytaca’s background like when, where, and who founded it. I was actually glad to find out it was founded in Bacolod City, Philippines and it also had plenty of positive reviews. That gave me confidence, so I switched to Paytaca and I’ve been using it ever since. Thanks again to Mommy for the guidance!
💚Any tips or advice for fresh users trying to create and set up a BCHNostr account?
My take: don’t rush it. Give yourself time to wander around a bit, then learn by self discovery, kinda on your own pace. When you go to set up your BCHNostr account, start by finishing your profile first, after that include the BCH address from your external wallet where tips or zaps will land.
Next, try to get verified too even if it’s only something like $1, and if you can, consider adding a little balance so you’re able to send tips to other people as well.
Also, be patient while waiting. I know at first it can feel a bit rough, especially if you haven’t received tips yet and you start to feel discouraged. But keep showing up, stay active and consistent , that’s usually where the real payoff shows up later.
