openBSD is almost there... Almost.

I finally have a "working" (not 100%) desktop with the correct display, but it is still buggy.

For example, I would normally get sound via my DisplayPort, but oddly I can only get it through the mini (tiny) built in speaker inside the PC case. And despite having the volume on maximum it is still soft.

GPU is a AMD Radeon RX 6400.

I have GNOME working, but cannot get KDE Plasma to load. GDM cannot even find KDE even though the desktop shortcut are there.

You can install pipewire, but you cannot start it. The sound is likely coming from openBSD's own sound driver. I did not try to get Bluetooth working.

The idea was to get openBSD working and run a few virtual machines. But if I cannot get sound and later Bluetooth (keyboard), that means running a VM will be pointless.

There is no Bluetooth stack in OpenBSD.
