Jacked up shoulder, so I guess physically weak it is. Though other exercises for different body parts can substitute. Squats, etc.

I disagree. 500 is a decent amount for an average dude. I could do it, but fitness/strength has always been an important part of my mental health. Plus who the fuck does 500 pushups? Do a couple hundred and then be a man and grab a kettlebell.
