The reaction that Twitter-only Bitcoiners have about NOSTR reminds me of how precoiners react to Bitcoin.

It’s not just indifference—it’s anger, frustration, or resistance to having to learn something new. They were comfortable! Then you came along and told them about this thing that changes everything. Why did you have to do that??

Just like with the current financial system, people grandstanding about X hits weird. Really? That’s the hill you’re going to argue for?

I get it—NOSTR isn’t “there” yet. There’s still a lot of idealism in it. But here’s the thing: a lot of these people tried NOSTR a year ago or 6 months ago and have no idea what it’s become.

Things change so quickly here, and for me, that’s one of the coolest parts. Watching NOSTR grow and evolve in real time is a pretty special thing to be a part of.

Sure, it’s not perfect, but that’s the magic of being here early. You’re watching something transformative unfold right before your eyes.
