Being around that can make drinking wine feel like taking a test you haven't studied for.

These people miss the point of wine.
There's only one thing that matters.

Do you like it?

Without that, being able to explain what you're tasting doesn't matter.
Trust yourself.

You can just take a picture of the bottle and ask your AI slave bot to recommend another similar bottle later. Enjoy the damn wine.

Popped a bottle of my 2021 Merlot last week and it caught me off guard.

I like bright, light, fruity reds. The deep extracted stuff isn't normally my thing except for the strong seasonal food related cravings I get every fall.

This bottle had evolved. The tannins softened. Everything came together in a way that made me rethink the whole wine.
